Customer Service Representative
The UPS Store is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team!
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing the highest level of Customer Service to our customers. They will interact with customers to resolve their questions and concerns. The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for entering customer data as well as shipping information in our software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·Able to lift up to 50 pounds
·Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
·Process and enter shipping information as well as customer information into our software.
·Answer emails, telephone inquiries - ability to multi-task is beneficial. Process & receive shipments, sort mail for private mailbox holders, perform various printing projects.
·Able to work independantly but also be a team player! We are a small company and all team members are responsible for helping each other out, so don't be afraid to ask for help.
Experience:
·Previous experience in a Customer Service position within a retail environment is preferred but not required.
·Have a passion for learning! We are looking for someone who is willing to pick up new skills quickly.
·Have a positive attitude and willingness to help out where needed.
·Able to learn quickly! We are looking for someone who is willing to pick up new skills quickly and learn how everything works together, so be willing to help out where needed.
·Good computer skills! We are looking for someone who can type easily type in numbers and enter data easily into our computer software, so be willing to learn how we type numbers or how we enter data into our computer. Graphic design experience would be an asset but not necessary.
·Good communication skills! Be able to talk clearly with customers and colleagues about what we are doing and what we need help with. Have patience while waiting for answers from others. Be able to listen carefully when asked questions about what we are doing or what we need help with. Have the ability to explain problems clearly when asked by customers or colleagues. Have the ability to use email systems and other software as needed. Have good organizational skills (ability to prioritize, multi-task, time management) . Have the ability and desire to work well as part of a team (like in a fast-paced environment) . Have the desire and ability to learn new skills quickly (like learning how everything works together) . Have fun working together as a team!
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
