I'm supporting one of our clients in the food sector, located downtown, in their search for a Customer service specialist.
Main responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities :
- Process and control customer orders, ensuring compliance with the
specifics of the customer accounts for which you will be responsible
(order frequency, product portfolio, price list, etc.).
- Ensure that orders are consistent with sales forecasts, while monitoring
sales and marketing operations (promotions, new product launches
and/or seasonal products).
- Determine supply orders (product, quantity, delivery date and location)
in order to maintain adequate stock levels (defined in advance with the
customer) to guarantee the proper execution of sales activities and
achieve sales targets.
- Analyze inventory by identifying products with low, medium and/or
high turnover in order to determine the right level of orders and
optimize inventory turnover while respecting Customer Guaranteed
Delivery times (CGD).
- Handle any disputes that may arise during order processing and/or
during the Order to Cash process (product, quantity, quality, date &
place of delivery).
- Make proposals and find appropriate solutions in the event of
customer inquiries
- Analyze and manage customer activity using a dashboard (CSL, Supply
Chain costs, etc.). and propose action plans to improve performance.
- Coordinate Supply Chain Department initiatives directly with customers
as part of a Shared Supply Management (VMI).
- Act as the main internal contact for the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal
and Regulatory departments to stimulate and optimize Supply Chain
costs.
Skills and Qualifications :
- CEGEP, Bachelor's degree ideally, with at least 3 years of experience in a
similar position.
- Supply Chain & Order to Cash skills: mastery of sales administration
and logistics standards, as well as regulations
- Comfortable with IT tools: SAP for Order to Cash, Microsoft Office,
particularly Excel & PPT
- Autonomous and proactive, with a strong ability to think outside the box
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, often to
tight deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills on the telephone and in conflict or tense
situations (break-ups, disputes, pressure on time or business issues, etc.)
- Bilingual, both written and spoken (French and English)
PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
