Reporting to the Senior Manager, Ecommerce, the Email Marketing and CRM Specialist is responsible for managing Email Marketing campaigns for the Pelican International brand sets. They create and implement consistent and results-oriented strategies, working closely with the marketing team to align with product marketing priorities, ultimately driving traffic and sales on our marketplace.
YOUR TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE:
- Create and implement Email Marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team for writing, design, and integration, producing quality content for a targeted audience, and tracking campaign results.
- Implement an A/B testing plan to measure and optimize campaigns for maximum performance.
- Provide a 360-degree view of marketing projects, guiding the alignment of online and offline initiatives to ensure brand ownership and consistent image across all touchpoints.
- Be responsible for the design, writing, and integration of email messages.
- Contribute to email calendar planning by proposing reference ideas and contributing to the plan.
- Be accountable for reporting A/B email tests and communicating results to the team.
- Support existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs.
- Monitor key marketing indicators (sends, open rates, CTOR, revenue, unsubscribe rates) and report on them.
- Maintain the email subscriber list.
- Assist team members in producing weekly reports for continuous email optimization.
- Analyze business trends and identify areas of opportunity.

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES, YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR!
- You have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in Email Marketing and communication or a similar role.
- Experience with an email deployment platform (an asset), Email Marketing software, and analytical tools.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics (Google paid ads), Amazon paid ads.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field of study.
- Bilingual, both orally and in writing.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web development.
- Organized, detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and good time management.
- Team player with a positive and results-oriented attitude, self-motivated and resourceful.
- Passionate about outdoor activities.
