As a Data Analytics & Business Intelligence specialist, you will provide direct support to the global and divisional ELIP Human Resources Team as we manage our expanding data needs and drive strategic initiatives. Your role will be critical to our HR leadership team as you evaluate data, produce meaningful insights and metrics, and provide governance for our master data through system and process changes. This role will partner closely with our HR business partners and business leaders to arrive at methodologies to develop KPIs and Metrics and develop functional dashboards based on business requirements. This role can be fully remote anywhere in the US. Work hours should align to EST and CST time zones.

Your responsibilities
- Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports
- Executes quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights and compelling presentation of data and trends
- Establishes expertise in designing new dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization and in identifying the right metrics and layout and develops functional dashboards based on business requirements
- Analyzes reports and identifies potential improvement areas and manages bugs and anomalies to troubleshoot and maintain accuracy of a global, multi-source reporting environment
- Ensures delivery of user-friendly analytics insights. by improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery, through active feedback from customers and stakeholders
- Delivers value-added results and demonstrates strong customer centricity and service excellence for both internal stakeholders, peers, and customers
- Owns the knowledge capture and transfer of under-the-hood systems such as various architectural and design aspects and ensures they are well documented to maintain and enhance the overall system integrity
- Participates in innovation and creativity while also ensuring a fine balance between overall time to market, costs, performance, scalability, and long-term technology stability of analytics solutions
- Demonstrates a passion for continuous learning by staying abreast on latest technology, evolving business needs and HR functional changes through continuous learning
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent
- 5 plus years of experience with data management, analytics, and insights within scope of responsibility
- 3 plus years of experience improving business results and/or employees experience through data analysis and insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Report creation, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling), Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot, DAX, advanced formula usage, etc.), and SQL scripting helpful
- Work experience in a global matrixed business environment is highly preferred
- Direct work experience in the HR function is highly preferred
- Direct work experience with Workday or SAP based HR system is highly desirable
- A results-oriented professional with strong common sense and superior business acumen
- Ability and desire to explore data repositories and make intuitive deductions on how they connect
- The ability to be recognized as an independent and respected advisor, and ability to work in a complex, matrixed structure where cooperation is often gained through influence rather than through direct command
- Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong professional relationships
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and analytical skills are required
- A change agent with an eye for process improvement
- Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the United States
