Data Entry Clerk

AP DATA ENTRY CLERK

This in an in-office position, not a remote nor work from home position.

We are looking for an outgoing and highly organized individual looking to learn and grow within our team as an Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk. They will report to the Office Manager and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Data Entry of vendor invoices, reconciliation of monthly statements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record keeping and Data Entry
• Verifying, reviewing, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Preparing Accounts Payables for processing and payments
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel as required
• Function in accordance with established standards and procedures
• Organizing and recording credit card receipts

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Data entry and word processing skills
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Competency in MS Office programs
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Well organized
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong desire to learn and grow as part of a team
• Valid Drivers License
• High school degree

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
