Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed in the preparation and handling of food
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and grills
- Stock and rotate deli products to ensure freshness
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- Strong math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Note: Prior experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
