Job Description:

Produce distribution company seeking a full-time truck driver for deliveries in the GTA.

• Ability to drive a 24ft straight truck / 5-ton truck (G license)
• Candidate should be seeking long term employment.
• Full Time: 6 days per week (Monday through Saturday)
• Start Time: 5:00am (4:00am during the training period)
• Note: Hours of work will vary day to day depending on the workload
• Location: Scarborough (Lawrence & Midland)
• Start: Immediately

Job Requirements:

• The candidate must hold a valid “G” License
• Must be able to provide a current drivers abstract
• Experience driving a 24ft straight truck / 5-ton truck
• Clean driving record – (insurance company needs to approve you)

Responsibilities:

• physically able to lift 50lbs
• must understand the physical aspects of the job
• friendly and professional customer service skills
• load merchandise into and off delivery vehicles
• check paperwork to ensure accurate deliveries
• must be punctual

Salary: From $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

• To be approved by commercial vehicle insurance, you must have experience driving a similar vehicle type for a minimum of three years. Do you meet this criteria for either a 5-ton truck and/or a full size transit cargo van (or larger vehicle)?
