Job Description
The Delivery Driver role is to be responsible for warehousing duties and delivery services which include delivering materials, parts and equipment to various job sites, picking up materials and parts from suppliers, safeguarding all items during transit, general warehouse duties, such as organizing, cleaning and inventory counts, and assisting with maintaining an organized warehouse layout. The Delivery Driver will operate various motor vehicles, light delivery vehicles, and a forklift. This position requires a Clean Driving Abstract, Full “G” License, and the ability to lift at least 50lbs without assistance, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Delivery Driver will report directly to the Installation Manager.
Regular Working Hours – 7:30AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
I.Daily Material Management
- Complete scheduled pickups and ensure material is well labelled and organized in shop; Ensure Installation and Service Departments receive matching tags advising them of their staged order
- Complete emergency drop-offs – including picking up material and delivering to keep jobs on schedule;
- Coordinate and schedule product deliveries for the Installation Department’s scheduled projects;
- Coordinate and order equipment rentals required for both the Installation and Service Department;
II.Equipment/Shop Management
- Ensure sign in/sign out log is completed when Lenworth’s equipment is used;
- Inspect equipment upon return to ensure it’s in good working order
- Tag out all unsafe equipment and source proper repair/replacement option
- Ensure any equipment (such as lifting equipment or bobcat) is pre-loaded on trailer when required;
- Ensure the overall appearance of the shop and the remainder of the building– both interior and exterior is well kept at all times;
- The shop is to function as a showroom – as such, it must be well kept at all times
- Ensure garbage scrap bins are kept clean and secure at all times
- Contact contracted disposal companies to have bins exchanged when required
- The magnet must be run in the morning to comply with property management
- Ensure walk ways and door ways are consistently cleared throughout the building during bad weather conditions. This includes: snow/ice shoveling and salting
- Ensure basic supplies – such as water, toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap are stocked – both in office and shop;
III.Inventory Management
- Assist with managing full inventory system to ensure stocking levels are maintained o Ensure fast moving parts section is stocked at all times
- Adhere to all shop processes to manage inventory effectively and be aware of all product in the shop;
- Assist with developing a system to ensure service trucks are stocked with appropriate parts at all times;
- Complete bi-weekly service truck inventory checks to ensure truck stock is maintained and vehicle cleanliness in maintained
- Assist with managing shop inventory – and order as required to ensure appropriate stock is maintained;
- Complete weekly inventory checks to ensure stock is maintained;
- Determine common moving parts and set up as stock item
- Frequently review stocking levels vs. selling history to increase or decrease inventory levels

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
