SalarySeeking a part-time driver for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (approx 10-20 hrs per week) to drive our delivery van and unload at shipping depots. The usual vehicle is a 16-foot cube van.
These runs occur weekly throughout the spring, beginning in mid-March, and then every 2-3 weeks from July until November.
This position is ideal for a retired person who is looking for paid work that does not require a daily commitment.
The driver must have:
- A good driving record
- A current passport or equivalent
- The physical ability to unload our truck (lift up to 50 lbs)
Our typical driving schedule is as follows:
Monday: deliver to UPS depot in Buffalo, NY (10am-6pm)
Tuesday: deliver to local terminals in Pickering, Markham, and Newmarket (4pm-7pm)
Wednesday: deliver local terminals in Pickering, Markham, and Newmarket (4pm-7pm)
Additional deliveries/pick-ups within Ontario are required throughout the year. These are scheduled as-needed, thus potential candidates must be available on an on-call basis.
