Status: Independent Contractor

PURPOSE: The Delivery DriverIndependent Contractor is tasked with delivering small packages throughout the GTA and surrounding areas, efficiently and on-time. The Independent Contractor is; free to work with any other transportation companies, flexible with availability, and is physically capable of carrying out deliveries daily. Ensuring and exhibiting safe driving practices at all times, the Independent Contractor is comfortable with navigating a handheld smartphone.

Contractor Service level expectations:

• Carries out deliveries based on assigned route
• Loading and unloading parcels into own vehicle
• Vehicle must be road worthy

Required:

• Excellent customer service and attention to detail
• Time management and organizational skills
• Able to effectively navigate in highly congested traffic areas
• Competent using a smartphone device
• Flexible with scheduling; weekend routes available

In Addition:

• Must possess a valid G Class License
• Clean criminal background
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Access to an email address
• Possess a smartphone
• Previous courier experience is an asset but not required. Full training is provided.
