We are Sheldon Creek Dairy an on-farm dairy crafting milk products right here on our family farm. We are seeking Full-Time & Part -Time Delivery Drivers for our family business located in Loretto, Ontario

The Delivery Driver position is responsible for delivering Sheldon Creek Dairy Products and various other locally made products to retail stores on a daily delivery route each week.

Full-time position makes deliveries 4-5 days per week.

Part-time position makes deliveries 2 days per week.

These routes travel within a two hour radius from the farm including driving in the GTA and Toronto in a company-owned refrigerated cargo van. This position will also help cover other drivers' vacations.

Our customers include many small to medium-independent retail accounts

The ideal candidate will be great with people, be a safe and confident driver, able to perform quick in-store checks to ensure product availability, proper merchandising and date coding.

Must enjoy driving, experienced driver is an asset and have a great personality. Training will consist of shadowing and learning the complex duties required by the job.

Hours:

Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week

Part-Time Position: 18-20 hours per week with more hours if interested.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver dairy products to many businesses on the various routes
• Load/Unloading of products onto delivery truck
• Operating refrigeration truck and delivery vans
• Utilize dolly in transporting large orders safely and in a timely manner
• Handling inquiries and or concerns from management/customers professionally
• Representing the company, our brand, and values at all times while on duty

Required Skills:

• High-level interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills required to maintain and excel in the handling of multiple products and orders simultaneously
• Ability to lift heavy cases up to 50 lbs each
• Ability to transport orders up to 300lbs with the use of a dolly
• Comfortable driving in the GTA
• Must be able to use a GPS
• Good knowledge of Ontario (delivery area is defined by a 2 hour radius from the Farm)
• Must have cell phone
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have a valid G driver’s license
• Clean drivers abstract mandatory
• MUST BE 25 or older to be on insurance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
