Responsibilities
- Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
- Assist welders or other tradespeople in shop
- Handle and transport materials and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders)
- Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)
- Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures
- Use of company 1 ton truck to pick up and deliver goods when needed
- Safely securing loads using straps and tie downs
- Assist with shipping and receiving of goods if needed
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
- Willing to be trained in all shop areas if needed
Requirements * Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 100 pounds etc.)
- Valid Drivers License
- 1 Year experience in driving 1 ton trucks
- Experience in securing large or difficult loads for pick up or delivery
- Clean Driving Record- Please note a Drivers Abstract will needed to be submitted if hired. Will reimburse the amount of the document if the Abstract comes back clean.
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
