Duties
- Primarily float, offering chairside assisting, as needed, and sterilization duties.
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Take digital x-rays, must be HARP certified.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
```Experience```
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Knowledge of dental software systems , Tracker is an asset, although not required.
The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled Dental Assistant with experience in various aspects of dentistry. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
