We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees. ```Responsibilities```
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications
- Set up and configure network connections, including VPN and firewall settings
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of office equipment, such as projectors and conference room AV systems
- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution to technical issues
- Document all support activities in ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems
- Conduct training sessions to educate users on basic software and hardware usage
```Requirements```
- Proven experience in a Desktop Support or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and computer networking concepts
- Familiarity with IT support tools such as Jira or ServiceNow
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
- Basic understanding of firewall configurations and VPN setups
