About this team:
The Global Packaging and Labelling team is responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, and producing end-to-end packaging and labels. We work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the business and partners throughout supply chain. We meet the needs of our product, guests, markets and channels in order to achieve our strategic priorities and business goals. We ensure packaging and labelling materials are production ready and support successful product delivery.
A day in the life:
The Packaging and Labelling Development team creates end to end packaging and labelling solutions that meet the requirements for our global markets. In partnership with Packaging Design and Operations, the Development team collaborates with vendors, suppliers, and cross functional partners to produce packaging and labelling that complement our product assortment.
The Developer is responsible for:
• Build relationships with packaging/labelling suppliers to align with business processes and support business needs
• Enrol and inform Packaging Designer and Product Developers on packaging/labelling construction, innovation and on the technical capability of vendors to deliver the materials
• Develop packaging/labelling materials that meet design briefs and cross functional business requirements
• Support with the organization, flow, and tracking of packaging/labelling samples and product prototypes
• Support with the creation and communication of material style associations and details in FlexPLM and with cross functional partners
• Work collaboratively with the Packaging and Labelling Developers in ensuring accuracy of labelling needs on all packaging and labelling materials
• Maintain current knowledge on vendors and industry developments to deliver packaging technical innovation opportunities to set lululemon apart from its competitors

Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Design/Engineering or related discipline
· Minimum 5 years of development, packaging design or related professional industry experience.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
· Proficient with Adobe programs (Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign)
· Proficient with Flex PLM or similar PLM software is preferred.
· Familiarity with 3D Design
· Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of packaging technical terminology, familiarity of retail terminology an asset
· Demonstrated ability to present to peers and leaders
· Ability to enrol others and articulate point of view and decisions on developments
· Design thinking: ability to create solutions that meet consumer and business need
· Proficiency with cost analysis

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $79,100-$103,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
