We are currently recruiting for strong, experienced Dietary Aides with a passion for the elderly.

CLASSIFICATION: (20001) Dietary Aide

WORK AREA: Central City Lodge/ Cooper Place –Food Services Department

EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately

HOURS: 0630-1430/1030-1830/1500-1930/0700-1500

SALARY: $23.38 Hourly

JOB SUMMARY:

Positions at this level perform a variety of duties within a food service operation such as portioning and serving meals, washing and peeling vegetables and fruit, preparing items such as tea, coffee and toast, and washing dishes and utensils.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training and Experience:

Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to deal with others effectively

- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

- Ability to operate related equipment

- Ability to organize work.
