Job Description
In this exciting role you'll have an opportunity to support our digital & web ambition for the insurance business. You'll frequently engage with a diverse range of Strategy leaders, Designers, Product Owners, and Engineers to define transformative experience opportunities. As a Digital Business Analyst, you'll focus on how financial advisors and their firms are best enabled to grow and manage their business by stitching together insights and driving out wins through a high-paced delivery environment.
As a Digital Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting transformative and innovative initiatives to realize our shared goal of being a digital customer leader.
  • Identify business opportunities using a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity.
  • Manage insights across teams to discover, align & implement high priority solutions.
  • Understand the key online user groups, their behavior, and expectations within a web portal.
  • Contribute to discovery & innovation sessions by staying current on the latest trends in online tools and designs.
  • Gather and maintain a wide array of initiative outcome data tracking market experience impacts on end users.
  • Capitalize on your ability to build and cultivate positive, effective relationships across a matrix organization.
  • Using your strong communication skills to collaborate with working groups and document business needs.
  • Influencing your teammates with your positive attitude and passion for your role!

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, computer science, or other related fields.
  • Ideally has 3 or more years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. Power Point, Confluence, and JIRA experience.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Journey Analytics would be an asset
  • Experience with reports/BI dashboard creation and report automation
  • Ability to work quickly and independently under tight deadlines, managing tasks from start to finish.
  • Technologically savvy, willing to learn and adjust to evolving business needs.
  • Solid understanding and background on data gathering, data scrubbing and data integration.
  • You thrive in teams and enjoy getting things done together.
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as verbal, written, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Waterloo, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$56,400.00 CAD - $94,000.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
