Role Overview:
Cassels is currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Coordinator in our Marketing & Business Development Department, reporting to Director of Marketing Communications. This role will be responsible for enhancing our marketing initiatives and increasing brand awareness and digital presence, primarily through the accurate and timely execution of email campaigns. The candidate is preferably located in Vancouver or Calgary, or able to shift work schedule across time zones.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Create, coordinate, and execute, from start to finish, a wide range of email marketing campaigns, including events, newsletters, and other mailers, both in support of the Digital Marketing Specialist and independently.
- Work to ensure all Digital Marketing collateral adheres to brand guidelines and meets the highest standards of quality.
- Coordinate the timely and accurate production and distribution of email campaigns with various team members across the firm.
- Collaborate with fellow team members from marketing communications, business development, and events, as well as members from across the firm, to brainstorm creative solutions, effectively manage projects, and produce outstanding work.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of email campaigns as/when requested
- Assist with data maintenance in InterAction.
- Other duties as required.
The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills:
- Two or more years of related experience, professional services experience preferred.
- Degree in marketing or communications preferred.
- Preferably located in Vancouver or Calgary, or able to shift work schedule across time zones if needed.
- Detailed-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills – this is a hands-on role that requires a desire to learn and tactical execution.
- Ability to provide accurate first drafts of campaigns upon receipt of project brief/details.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capable of handling tight deadlines.
- Professional demeanor/ability to interact with lawyers and other employees of all levels.
- Able to work well independently with minimal supervision and direction, as well as participate in team efforts.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if/as needed.
- Familiarity with mail management (i.e., Concep) and CRM (i.e., InterAction) programs required.
- Familiarity with posting content to social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, X) or websites (i.e., Wordpress) an asset.
