Description:

Robert Land Academy (RLA), a premier all-boys military-inspired boarding school, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Digital Media Specialist to join our team. This role is integral in enhancing our online presence, focusing on content creation for web-based platforms, and improving our digital marketing and advertising strategies. Located in West Lincoln, Ontario, this position offers a chance to contribute to the growth and outreach of RLA, which has been nurturing and educating boys in grades 5-12 since 1978.

Digital Media Specialist - Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Digital Media content for our website, social media, and other online platforms.
• Lead and improve our digital marketing and advertising strategies.
• Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate closely with the Admissions and Marketing team to support basic administrative tasks.
• Assist in promoting the Academy positively to new parents and stakeholders.
• Stay current with Digital Media trends and suggest innovative approaches for marketing.
• Ensure all digital content aligns with the Academy’s ethos and branding.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in Digital Media, content creation, and SEO optimization.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and advertising strategies.
• Excellent skills in website management and content development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable but not required:

• Degree or certification in Digital Marketing, Media Studies, or related field.
• Experience in an educational or similar setting.

Term of Engagement:

• Immediate start. Full-time, hourly, or salaried position.
• Fixed term 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend.

Schedule:

• Flexible, with a requirement to support events and activities occasionally outside of regular business hours.
