Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant's dining area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant industry, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Dining Room
- Supervise and train Dining Room staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bussers
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize customer flow
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Oversee inventory management for Dining Room supplies
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for Dining Room staff
- Assist with interviewing and hiring new team members
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
