During a typical shift, a dining room manager is busy with activity. Customers are shuffled in and out fairly quickly in this type of restaurant, and managers oversee the patrons from the time they hit the door until they pay their bill. They also supervise the servers, hosts and at times, even the kitchen staff. Previous restaurant experience is required. You will work alongside shift supervisors/key holders to ensure the dining room runs smoothly.

- Alcohol ordering/accountability/tracking waste and spillage

- Inventory
- Hiring/Scheduling training for new employees
- Serving weekdays/lunches
- Working closely with the kitchen manager to ensure smooth running service
This individual must be able to work well under pressure in a high paced environment.
We are looking for an individual who has strong people skills, leadership skills, empathy, a positive attitude, the desire to offer our customers the best experience possible, multi-tasking and organizational skills, time management, ability to delegate and the ability to see the big picture.
Qualifications include:
- Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least 3 years Front of House experience and/or assistant management positions
- Posses strong mathematical skills and have the ability to operate a POS system
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Must have the stamina to work 40-44 hours a week
This is a blended role, meaning the manager may serve tables during the week
