As Director, Investor Relations and Capital Markets, you will be a key member of the Corporate Development function. You will be directly involved in highly strategic ventures and high impact processes that affect goeasy’s success. Reporting to the Chief Corporate Development Officer, you will collaborate with senior executives across the business with emphasis on collaboration and support of both the CEO and CFO. goeasy has been a pretty incredible growth story and we are looking for someone who would like to join the team in the control room. We are seeking someone comfortable working in a dynamic environment, where no two days are similar, and they will embrace the opportunity to find ways to contribute and add value to goeasy’s next phase of growth. They will possess strong business acumen, are adept with data and technology, and will have a knack for bringing concepts to life in both project settings and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations:
Development and dissemination of messaging of financial results and other corporate developments to external parties;
Respond to investor inquiries and track interactions with investors;
Establish excellent working relationships across the business and, in direct support of the senior executive team, to research and analyze relevant business issues and provide timely responses to inquiries from analysts, investors.
Develop strong relationships with the investment community to enhance their understanding of business strategy and financial performance and communicate insights from the Street back to senior management as appropriate.
Monitor and distribute peer group research; follow industry, competitor developments and news flow, including earnings calls and analyst days, and communicate key takeaways to management.
Contribute to the planning and execution of quarterly results reporting, M&A transactions, investor days and other IR events
Manage the quarterly earnings process; presentation materials, analysis, and conference call logistics for the Earnings call.
Prepare materials for internal audiences on investor relations activities, and communications, as required.

Capital Markets:
Monitor the “market” - environment, research reports, news, trading, disclosures, earnings, presentations and other information sources – related to goeasy and its competitive set;
Track volume, buyers, sellers and various quantitative measures for stock performance;
Assist with market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comparatives;
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and C-suite on ad hoc projects and requests;
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards;

Qualifications:
5-7 years of work experience acquired in a top-tier consulting firm, investment banking, and/or in an internal corporate development department for a high growth organization
Exposure to Investor Relations for a publicly traded company or acquired from exposure to capital markets
Undergraduate degree with a focus in Finance or Commerce; attainment of a MBA, CFA or CBV is preferred
Financial Services experience is preferred
Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and make recommendations on strategic problems or questions
