MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE OR PRACTICAL NURSE FOR CONSIDERATION.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of Care services within the retirement facility
- Develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Supervise and train care staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of Care provided, making necessary adjustments as required
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of Care services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Experience:
- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license, or alternative healthcare background
- Proven experience in Dementia care and working with seniors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Experience in budgeting and resource allocation
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with assisted living and nursing home regulations and best practices
