AddressAs a Director of Finance & Customer Success, you will manage operational financial reporting, budgeting, and planning processes in all key business functions and play a leading role in ensuring the company meets it’s short and long-term targets.
Scope of duties
Take a hands-on role in leading the financial reporting process including preparing consolidated financial statements, monthly management reports and analysis to guide decision making.
Prepare accounting records and documentation, including bank and credit card reconciliations, inter-company accounts, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and HST filings.
Manage year-end external audits and be the main point of contact.
Manage accounting controls and tools (e.g. QuickBooks Online, Ceridian, Float) and identify efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
Assist in the annual forecasting and budgeting process.
Ensure compliance with local law, tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations.
Requirements:
Canadian CPA designation.
8+ years’ experience as a senior accountant, financial controller, FP&A or similar roles (strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate development).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with internal business partners and department leads.
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is not fazed by ambiguity.
Experience in SaaS or a high-growth tech company is preferred.
