About You

You thrive on fostering and maintaining healthy productive relationships and demonstrate a consistent example of servant leadership.
You are self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency. You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage your time, workload, and conflicting priorities effectively and efficiently. You work independently and as a collaborative team member while bringing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to this position.
You foster an environment that supports and respects the autonomy, independence, dignity, spiritual wellness, and privacy of our residents. You embrace learning, innovative change and promote health and wellness using a person-centered and normalized living approach in the context of Christian Ministry.
You have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in nursing, business administration, or health care administration. A minimum 7 years’ progressive leadership experience in a hospitality or seniors’ services setting is strongly preferred. A clinical background would strengthen your application.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide program leadership to a dedicated and hardworking team of Administrators who manage Long Term Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living and/or Affordable Housing seniors’ communities. You will champion the Baptist Housing Wellness Model of Care and Service in all programs across all communities.
Your strong strategic thinking informs your development of annual operating goals. Your financial acumen equips you to manage budgets for each community in your assigned portfolio.
Program leadership includes building relationships with residents and families in our affordable housing and seniors supportive housing programs; leading the provision of assisted living and home support services in accordance with local healthy authority and provincial legislative requirements; and leading the provision long term care privately in partnership with the local health authority.
As an ambassador for Baptist Housing, you cultivate an environment that supports and respects the autonomy, independence, dignity, and privacy of our residents and fosters a fun and respectful work environment for team members. You help ensure all Baptist Housing activities promote, enhance, and protect our brand, boosting our reputation with relevant constituents, as well as driving broader awareness.

This is a full-time, permanent position located in the lower mainland. Total compensation includes competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, four weeks’ vacation, RRSP matching, and support for professional development.
You would consent to a Criminal Record Check (CRC) for working with Vulnerable Adults and are able to provide a clear current tuberculosis test. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is also a condition of employment.
