Medavie Health Services New Brunswick (MHSNB) is the subsidiary of Medavie Health Services responsible for the optimal operation and management of EM/ANB, an integrated organization specializing in the delivery of primary health care services with the goal of facilitating access to quality care so that patients can achieve better health outcomes. We are looking for a Director, NB Health Link Operation, to oversee and manage our provincial program. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure the delivery of excellent, patient-centered care. They will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a culture of quality, efficiency, and compassion within our NBHL facilities and central support team.  
The incumbent will work in close collaboration with our program Medical Director and will lead a team of clinical and nonclinical resources with a goal to increase access to care for the patients of NB Health Link.
NB Health Link is a program aimed at providing access to health care for New Brunswickers who don’t have a family doctor or nurse practitioner. The program connects patients to the health care they need, with in-person, telephone, or online appointments in the official language of the patient’s choice, while they wait for a longer-term placement with a family physician or nurse practitioner. NB Health Link is an important part of the province’s commitment to help New Brunswickers get the health care they need, when and where they need it.

Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
•    Develop and implement a strategic vision for the operations in alignment with the organization's overall mission and goals.
•    Provide leadership and guidance to a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
•    Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence 
•    Oversee the day-to-day operations of NB Health Link clinics, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services in accordance with our program policy.
•    Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve patient outcomes, reduce wait times, and enhance the patient experience.
•    Implement and maintain quality assurance and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.
Staff Development
•    Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
•    Provide mentorship and professional growth opportunities for clinical and administrative staff.
•    Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the primary care department.
Collaboration & Partnerships 
•    Collaborate with other internal departments and external partners to enhance integrated care delivery.
•    Develop and nurture relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to support population health initiatives.
•    Represent the organization in primary care-related matters at local, regional, and provincial levels.
Requirements:
•    Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    A minimum of 8 years’ experience in healthcare leadership, with a strong background in primary care management.
•    Proven track record of successful leadership, strategic planning, and program development.
•    Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
•    Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
•    Commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for community health.
•    Excellent interpersonal and client management skills, with the ability to grasp patient-centered design principles.
•    Experience working in a Cloud-based Electronic medical record.
•    Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to target messages to different audiences and persuade to best fit solutions and identify key communications in a timely manner.
•    Proven relationship management skills with an ability to build and maintain professional relationships, understands the principles of ‘needs anticipation’ and acts as an advocate for all program stakeholders.
•    Demonstrated skills with respect to management of stakeholder expectations and task management.
•    Strong sense of teamwork, presenting a professional image and exhibiting a solid work ethic.
•    Bilingualism in French and English is required for this role.
