Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Previous experience in a hotel or food service environment is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
