We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist in food preparation, cleaning, and other tasks to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the food service industry and wants to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Assist the cooks and chefs in food preparation and cooking
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
- Stock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Help with receiving and storing food deliveries
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar food service establishment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
