Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Cook/Dishwasher. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Duties:
- Assist the cook in preparing meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations
