Description
As a District Manager for Rosso Coffee Roasters your role is to ensure that all cafe locations are performing at peak levels. This includes people, service, product quality, visual presentation, health and safety, food safety, and financial performance. This role is also responsible for being actively involved in the hiring process for all positions and creating a motivating work environment.
Key Job Functions
- Reports directly to owners and works in close collaboration with other resource departments.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
- 24/7 support to Store Managers with store visits, emails and phone calls
- Creating sales and labour targets
- Actively involved in Rosso’s hiring to ensure all candidates represent the Rosso Brand and values.
- Maintain Rosso standards in customer service, quality control, food safety, and store cleanliness.
- Ensuring sales and labour goals are meeting expectations
- Actively involved in growth plans for all team members to promote internal promotion
- Promote a culture of team work across all divisions
- Customer come first attitude – delivering legendary customer service.
- Liaison between store staff and corporate.
Responsibilities
- Hiring AM/MIT Candidates
- Conducting all second interviews for leadership positions
- Ensuring all stores are full profiled
- Review all store schedules weekly to make sure we have the right person at the right time and are in line with labour targets
- Sitting in on one on ones and create action plan for constant improvement
- Communicates clearly to the store team the direction and values of the company
- Completing monthly store visit reports
- Sitting in on all written warnings with Store Managers
- Daily communication with Store Managers and assistants to make sure new procedures, promotions or items are properly implemented.
- Following up with Store Managers weekly on key indicators and creating action plans when necessary to get back on track.
- Tracking ordering and waste reports by location
- Following up on inventory and take action on any loss prevention issues
- Making sure all stores have neat and proper retail displays
- Provide feedback to marketing on store needs
- Delivering feedback on store performance and operations.
- Help out with internal and external company events when needed.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Previous multi location management or equivalent
- Ability to build and motivate a team of passionate individuals
