Responsibilities:
- Facilitates timely access to Project business information in an electronic environment
- Assists with the daily activities of the document control centre team ensuring timely delivery of information to project clientele
- Acts as the liaison between the document control centre team and project clients by listening to document management issues and needs
- Support and training of project users and clients both internally and externally
- Identifies difficulties and inadequacies related to data/file management and proposes improvement to maintain quality standards.
- Ensures that authors and any other provider of documentation adheres to the Documentation Guidance Manual standards, format, etc.
- Support Major Project Groups as required
- Periodic travel to various work sites outside of Canada may be required to support project personnel
Deliverables:
- Perform standard document control functions for revision and non-revision controlled documentation, including but not limited to, Engineering and Vendor
- Operate the electronic transmittal system to manage the registration, tracking and distribution of controlled documentation
- Assist in quality management of the information management system
- Oversee and ensure that the document workflow process is followed
- Consult with clients on formatting of documents, using correct document templates, standards, titling etc

Qualifications Required
- Diploma / certificate in records management or equivalent of education and experience
- 7 years’ document control experience
- Understanding of documentation revision control and review / approval process
- Knowledge and understanding of document workflow and life cycles
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize work requests and meet deadlines based on overall understanding of business impacts
- Strong working knowledge of an electronic Document Management System (ie, livelink)
- Excellent attention to detail

- Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office

- Experience within or exposure to the Oil and Gas industry
