SalaryEducation Assistants are responsible for providing support in the classroom, around the school, and within the community. Specifically, assistance is provided in the following:
• Behaviour management
• Curriculum implementation
• Social skills development
• Personal care
• Physical assistance
To be considered, candidates must have the following:
Required Qualifications:
• Successful completion of a recognized program in special needs assistance;
• One (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of training and/or
experience.
This position pays $34.09 per hour.
