Education Assistant

Quesnel School District

The Quesnel School District is currently seeking applications for Casual Education Assistants. Successful applicants would become members of CUPE Local 4990.

Education Assistants - Grade 12 graduation and a minimum of a 1-year post-secondary education program in an Education Assistant or Developmental Disabilities Certificate Program. Demonstrated experience in working successfully with children/adolescents with social/emotional difficulties would be an asset. The current rate of pay is $29.36/hour.

All applications are to include a covering letter, resume, names of at least 3 supervisory/professional references, supporting documents (e.g. confirmation of Grade 12 completion, relevant post secondary certificates, diplomas and transcripts, certifications).

The starting hourly rate of pay for this Education Assistant position is $29.36 per hour. All continuing positions receive a competitive benefits package and pension.
