Graf Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled electrician with a background in shovel operation, high voltage systems, and mining. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, expertise in operating shovels, and familiarity with high voltage applications in a mining environment.

Responsibilities:

· Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on shovel equipment, ensuring optimal performance,and minimizing downtime.

· Operate and maintain shovels, always adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

· Install, inspect, and repair high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

· Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions, using appropriate tools and equipment.

· Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical equipment.

· Conduct routine inspections and tests on electrical systems and components.

· Collaborate with other electricians and specialists to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

· Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance and repair records.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as an electrician in a mining or heavy equipment industry, with a focus on shovel operation and high voltage systems.

· Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and components.

· Proficiency in operating and maintaining shovels, with a focus on electrical systems.

· Knowledge of high voltage systems and applications, along with the ability to install, inspect, and repair them.

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· Flexibility to work in various shifts and adapt to changing work conditions.

· Valid electrical license or certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 84 per week
