Job Description:
As a Journeyman Electrician at Neutech Services, you will play a vital role in our team, contributing your expertise to a variety of projects. We are looking for a skilled individual who can communicate effectively, manage their time efficiently, and uphold our values of quality workmanship and dedication to the craft.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and clients
- Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical control, and distribution equipment
- Conduct commercial electrical installations including rough-ins, distribution equipment, lighting systems, and conduit
- Perform fire alarm, data, and control installations
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications
- Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), provincial, and local building regulations
- Work independently or collaboratively to solve challenges
- Work at various job sites within the Calgary area, with occasional travel to other locations as required
- Perform tasks while standing, bending, crawling, lifting, climbing, pulling, and reaching, sometimes in confined spaces or at heights
- Utilize knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems and various test equipment
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Residential and commercial electrical experience
- Ownership of basic tools
- Genuine interest in career progression and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn new concepts and techniques
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Work Conditions:
- Primary work location in the Calgary area
- Some heavy lifting required
- Work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces as necessary

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $34.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
