Responsibilities
· Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
· Pull wire/cables through conduits and through holes in walls, floors and cable tray systems
· Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment and tray systems, install grounding and bonding
· Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels, install MI and SR EHT
· Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
· Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair
· Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components
· Tracking of Units installed
Qualifications
Certifications:
Journeyperson
Fall arrest, H2S alive, manlift, CSTS2020, WHMIS 2015
Able to work out of town
Schedule
24 days in 4 days out, 12 hr shift daily.
Duration
Site work (near Fort McMurray) from March to June. Potential for longer duration.
