AP Dynamics is looking for a talented and self-motivated Project manager to join our team in Calgary, AB. The Project Manager delivers every project on time within budget and scope. The ideal candidate is skilled at planning projects, working with project teams, and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage projects including client follow-up, scope of work, quality, technical reviews, deliverables, schedule and deadlines, budget.
- Participate in business development initiatives to expand AP Dynamics’ business activities.
- Analyze Client’s request/needs, associated challenges and limitations and create the proposal.
- Develop and maintain procedures required for the project execution.
- Develop the project plans and coordinate the efforts of other analyst/engineer to support cross-functional collaboration.
- Review the work of the project team members and provide support, if required to meet project objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Oversee the coordination and resolution of all project issues.
- Analyze Client’s request/needs, associated challenges and limitations and create the proposal.
- Participate in the AP Dynamics Health and Safety Program according to the level of responsibility.
- Participate in the AP Dynamics Quality Management System according to the level of responsibility.
- Deliver projects in alignment with AP Dynamics’ project management process.
- Develop project plans and coordinate the efforts of other engineers, technicians, designers, and drafters to support cross-functional collaboration.
- Work effectively as a multi-disciplinary project team member.
- Maintain professional engineer status with APEGA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- Must have a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
- Previous experience in managing projects in oil and gas facilities.
- Previous experience in managing client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proactive approach in identifying emerging issues for early resolution.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Accountability and dependability.
- Ability to maintain a positive work environment within a team setting.
- Strong decision making skills.
- Ability to negotiate with and influence others.

Salary: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
