Job Summary
Varis Mine Technology Ltd is currently searching for Manufacturing Technician who works well in a team environment and is ready to start or continue their career in the underground mining wireless communication world. The Manufacturing Technician will be working as a key member of a high-energy Manufacturing team, and be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, assembly and testing of our VHF/UHF/LTE products.
Responsibilities / Daily Tasks
· Fabrication and testing of products according to Varis Manufacturing Procedures and Quality Manual.
· Tune VHF.UHF/LTE amplifiers and assemble
· Repair of manufacturing rejects and field failures.
· Upkeep of manufacturing area, tools, Manufacturing Procedures and Quality Manual so that safety, quality, and production targets are met.
· Help out teammates when required
· Help cross train others
· Possibility for overtime work
· Report to Production Manager daily
· Supports the Engineering department in product development and R&D
Job Requirements
· Good Organizational Skills
· Fluent in English, Other Languages an asset
· Above average computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Above average urface mount soldering skills
· Familiar with Spectrum Analyzers / Network Analyzers and Oscilloscopes.
· Able to read schematics and troubleshoot circuits.
· Comfortable using hand tools
· Must be able to lift 25 kg.
Education / Experience Requirement
· Electronics Technician or Technologist College diploma.
· Demonstrated good, written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledgeable in computer skills.
· Previous Experience in similar position.

Salary: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
