Overview:

MINS Technologies Inc is looking for a motivated RF/Electronic Technician with the desire to grow technically and professionally. MINSTECH is small business, located in Nanoose Bay. We are looking to extend our current team of 5 employees with additional manpower. Growth opportunities (full time + salary) may exist.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Assist in the maintenance and repair of all electronic systems including electro-mechanical systems, communication equipment, IT equipment.

· Assist with troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems in relation to satellite communications.

· Assist in carrying out installation, calibration, and modification to electronic systems and components.

Requirements

· Satellite communication basic knowledge

· A valid BC driving license and own vehicle

· Ability to travel Internationally - an asset. Valid Passport

· Ability to read technical mechanical and electrical drawings – a must

· Mechanical skills - an asset

· IT/Networking basic knowledge - a must

· Electronic repair skills (PCB soldering, troubleshooting) – a must

· Experience with the marine electronics/navigation equipment - an asset

· Experience with test equipment including

HAM radio license and experience - an asset
