Business Unit:  Security Services 
Location:  Hamilton

GardaWorld is one of the leading companies of Canada’s Security Solutions(Protective services). We provide risk management solutions for our clients with a team of security professionals, which are highly experienced & qualified. GardaWorld is currently hiring an Account Manager for our Protective Services business line. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of all issues in your assigned account portfolio with a focus on delivering a high level of service.  You will be liaison for clients, GardaWorld team members and internal operations and act as the primary point of contact for client service, employee performance and incident escalation.  If you bring experience working in a leadership role and thrive in a fast-paced role where building relationships is a key factor to your success, then this may be an ideal opportunity for you!   We are looking for security professionals who are passionate about the industry and looking for an opportunity to develop their careers with a leading organization! 
 
Account Manager duties will include:
-Maximizing customer retention by driving and ensuring customer satisfaction
-Validating corrective action for complaints, responding to escalated inquiries/requests quickly and professionally, while adding value at every opportunity and documenting in accordance with corporate policy
-Developing familiarity with customer culture, requirements, and day to day operations
-Assisting with recruitment
-Handling pay adjustments , invoices etc
-Ensuring customer expectations and contractual requirements are translated into operating instructions, including Standing Orders
-Facilitating activities related to new account start-ups and closeouts
-Ensuring and documenting that each site is fully staffed with trained, equipped, and motivated personnel who can routinely execute on the customer’s mandate, as well as the company’s contractual obligations          
-Completing requisitions, logs, reports, and associated documentation per our corporate process 
-Completing Standing Orders, Site Hazard Assessments, and ensuring client files are updated annually
-Ensuring site operations are conducted with prescribed GardaWorld Professional Standards through regularly scheduled site visits
-Coordinating with union representatives on personnel related matters as required
 
Account Manager Qualifications:
-Previous professional experience in the Security industry is an asset
-Post-secondary education in a Security related field is an asset
-Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or other relevant designations are a definite asset  
-1 to 3 years experience in personnel management in a unionized environment 
-At least 2-4 years of previous security related contract management, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience;
-At least 2-4 years of business management/operations/supervisory experience
-Possession of an Ontario Security License would be considered an asset.
-Ability to develop and grow customer relationships
-Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
-Key Competencies: staff management, financial management, integrity, problem solving, conflict management, time management, customer focus, timely decision making, motivating and directing others, drive for results
-Available on-call twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
-Experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining quality staff;
-Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
-Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and Client requirements on an ongoing basis
-Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
-Excellent with MS office; Excel etc
-Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to meet business demands
-Ability to travel to designated sites to meet with clients and field staff, as well as report to the respective branch offices.
