About the role
Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full Time Engineering Coordinator.

Hourly Wage: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Performs office duties such as dictation, typing, filing and answering the main Engineering Department line.

• Assists guests’ and departments’ requests for maintenance items for the Engineering Department.

• Assists in planning and implementing procedures, systems and controls to ensure an efficient operation of the Engineering Department.

• Handles the primary research and follow-up necessary on the purchasing of equipment, replacement parts and repairs. This includes contacting vendors for the best prices, making purchase orders, and receiving goods.

• Responds properly to all emergency conditions or safety situations such as fires, power failures, leaks, floods, etc.

• Report any damage or issues within the hotel and surrounding area, whether it is guestrooms, public areas or any employee housing units through HotSOS.

• Work with room division to take rooms out of order for the Perfect Room Program, exterior painting, window washing etc.

• Update and track the Perfect Room Program.

• Monitor HotSOS for Engineering calls and assign jobs to the appropriate team members.

What you bring

• Positive attitude

• Minimum 6 months experience as a coordinator or in a similar administrative role

• Strong experience with Microsoft Word and creating and updating Excel spreadsheets

• Ability to learn new operating systems

• Strong command of the English language; reading, written and oral

• Basic Engineering/Maintenance knowledge would be an asset

• Ability to work in Canada

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect flexibility in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
