This individual will collaborate closely with the team to ensure that working plans and technical drawings meet project specifications and goals.

This position will be full-time from early May to late August.
EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
§ Currently undertaking Mechanical or Chemical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
§ 0 - 2 years of Mechanical, Piping, Project Engineering or industrial facilities experience in the oil and gas or related industry.
§ Knowledge of piping line lists, equipment datasheets, P&IDs, and Excel macros would be an asset.
§ Knowledge or experience conducting large-scale data consolidation and interpretation would be considered an asset.
§ Proficiency in MS Office Suite programs used to create reports and documents.
§ Excellent communication skills and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Find, review, and store QA/QC and as-built documents from construction contractor turnover packages.
§ Assist with the completion of engineering activities with the objective of meeting the defined contractual scope to the relevant codes, standards, and company procedures.
§ Assist in the creation of data tables from multiple sources, measuring against criteria, and reporting to the client in standard template.
§ Apply critical thinking to interpret information from piping classes, line lists, and datasheets.
§ Assist team with organizing technical drawings using engineering and design software.
§ Play an active role in team and internal stakeholder meetings.
§ Completion of other relevant engineering and support duties as required.
