Process Engineer

WestCorp Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Client in Fort McMurray, AB. The ideal candidate for this position would be local to Fort McMurray. The shift is Monday – Friday working 8-hour days. There is client provided bussing to and from Fort McMurray and the worksite each day.

Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting deliverables related to the development of equipment strategies for Client fixed equipment.

• Collect and analyze key process data and equipment history.
• Learn and utilize engineering systems (PI Data, PI ProcessBook, Intools).
• Perform technical document searches and collect process data.
• Liaise with key stakeholders for equipment strategy development.

Education and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years working experience.
• Professional Engineer status with APEGA
• Proficient with time management
• Developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• One of the following certifications: OSSA Regional Orientation, Basic Safety Orientation, or Common Safety Orientation
