We are presently looking for an Intermediate Process Engineer or Technologist who is interested in expanding their skills by contributing to a competent team. Cornerstone Engineering is a mid-sized EPCM company in Calgary with roughly 175 employees that provides professional services to the oil and gas industry. This role would involve working among a team of Process Engineers and technologists, as well as collaborating with other engineers, designers, and project managers of various disciplines, and would include the design of wellsite facilities, pipelines, compressor stations, gas plants, and conventional oil facilities. The right candidate will display strong problem-solving skills, good judgement, willingness to learn, and communication abilities, along with the technical skills required to safely and efficiently contribute to projects.
Candidates MUST have the following qualifications:
· Minimum 7 years EPCM experience in a Process Engineering role with conventional oil and gas facilities including compressors, dehydrators, shallow and deep cut gas plants, oil batteries, pipeline systems, and wellsite tie-ins in Western Canada.
· Familiarity with aspects of process design software such as Symmetry, HYSIS, and ProMax
· Ability to assist in review and development of P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams, and vendor drawings, specs, and equipment.
· Current registration with APEGA or ASET, or eligibility.
· Must work well within a project team environment.
