Job description

Indigenous Services Canada and Indigenous organizations are hiring Environmental Public Health Officers with a range of experience levels. Working together with First Nations communities, Environmental Public Health Officers (EPHOs) are actively involved to identify and prevent Environmental Public Health risks.

Qualifications:

- Hold a valid Certified Public Health Inspector designation from the Canadian Public Health Institute of Canada (CIPHI), or actively pursuing an Environmental Public Health degree accredited by the Canadian Public Health Institute of Canada (CIPHI).

Locations:

- Various locations across Canada serving First Nations communities including remote and/or isolated communities.

Employment type:

- Opportunities for full and part-time employment for those possessing a valid Certified Public Health Inspector designation from the Canadian Public Health Institute of Canada (CIPHI).

- Practicums opportunities also available

Salary range:

- For those possessing a valid Certified Public Health Inspector designation from the Canadian Public Health Institute of Canada (CIPHI) the salary ranges is $84,887- $106,713.

Citizenship/permanent residency:

- Persons residing in Canada, and Canadian citizens and permanent residents residing abroad.
