ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES The Administrative Assistant is a part of the Environmental Services team and works collaboratively with others to
ADMINISTRATIVE provide consistent administrative support services to the
Environmental Services Department.
ASSISTANT
This position functions as the departmental receptionist and
will be a key point of contact for the public, other
departments and Resource Recovery Services staff. The
Administrative Assistant must develop effective working
Part Time Position relationships with local community members and colleagues
and provide exemplary customer service.
This is a part-time position working 21 hours per week.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability to provide a superior level of customer Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative
- Proven organizational skills highlighting attention to working in a government setting is preferred.
- Proven ability to prioritize, while working under Post-secondary education in an administration field
- Proven ability to create and work with files using a Training and experience in a computerized work
- Proven ability to type with speed and accuracy on Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proven ability to act with a high degree of diplomacy, Valid BC Drivers License and a satisfactory Drivers
- Excellent knowledge of routine office practices and Satisfactory Criminal Record.
