Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Assistant to join our Hazardous Materials team in either the Mississauga or Toronto office. This position offers remote work opportunities!
The Project Assistant will contribute to the smooth and effective operation of our Hazardous Materials team, as well as provide project management system support to a team of environmental professionals.
A Day in the life of a Project Assistant at Pinchin:
- Ensure deliverables are accurately formatted and that quality control forms have been completed by technical reviewers
- Proof-reading deliverables as requested
- Issue letters, reports, transmittals, spreadsheets, appendices (maps, photographs), etc. to clients as required by group protocols
- Co-ordinate timely assembly, printing, delivery of reports, letters, etc.
- Create project numbers and project reporting in Vision
- Generate shipping slips and receive office packages
- Assist in generating office expense reports
- Support Key Accounts & Clients by tracking performance metrics, assisting Managers with report deliverables and updating tracking spreadsheets, overseeing the schedule for portfolio work, coordinating with other offices for deliverables, etc.
What you bring to the Pinchin team:
- High School Diploma and Secretarial or Administrative Assistant Course preferred.
- 1-year Business Administration or Business Computer Course preferred.
- At least two years of experience in administrative functions.
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience using a project-based accounting system considered an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and track a large volume of deliverables.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision under strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for working with all levels of the organization.
