Summary:

Under the direction of the Director Materials Management & Sourcing, the ESG Specialist is responsible for leading IVC Vita Health’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiative, including strategy development, target setting, planning and execution, reporting and engagement.

The role combines elements of strategy, policy, operations (data collection process implementation, validation, and attestation), team management and development, advocacy, and support for working groups against the delivery and reporting of targets aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with internal and external resources to develop the IVC Vita Health ESG Strategy, policy and programs including:
    • Vendor Compliance Code of Conduct program
    • Implementing data collection Systems for Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
  • Benchmarking IVC Vita Health ESG performance against peers, industry trends and best practices. Proactively identify issues, risks, opportunities, and trends that may impact the company from an ESG perspective.
  • Developing, maintaining, and executing appropriate disclosure controls and procedures related to ESG.
  • Managing ESG reporting to third parties as appropriate.
  • Defining relevant KPIs and establishing monthly internal reporting and assessments of IVC Vita Health’s ESG performance relative to goals and to the performance.
  • Leading the Development of a Net Zero Roadmap for achieving net-zero emission. Establishing key milestones and deliverables working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with the relevant regulatory and company standards and making recommendations on future policy and action.
  • Identifying learning opportunities and defining an education plan and corresponding budget to execute.
  • Managing customer ESG paper and on-site audits and reporting.
  • Leading the on-site Green Team Committee mandate and initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

· 2+ years of related experience required or equivalent education.

· Demonstrable knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards and trends is required.

· Advanced skills in writing and report preparation are required.

· Project Management experience is recommended.

· Ability to work in a Team environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel.

· Intermediate to advanced skills with the following applications preferred: Tableau, UL360, Sphera, Enablon, Workiva, OneTrust or other ESG reporting software, Adobe Design Suite

Education, Certification, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, an accredited university; plus Graduate degree in ESG, CSR, or a related discipline is preferred.
