The role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be directly responsible for implementing and providing support for the Company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position troubleshoots issues and assists end users and works to develop solutions to business challenges within the ERP system.

What you'll do:
- Ongoing support of our ERP system (QAD) and all related modules.
- Implement improvements and changes to QAD, providing training and documentation.
- Support ERP related upgrades and implementations.
- Monitor data flow to and from our ERP system.
- Provide support to QAD end users, including but not limited to training, modifications, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and support external modules such as Customer Self Service, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Enterprise Asset Management.
- Work with outside consultants and programmers to update and implement new programs and improvements.
- Monitor inbound and outbound QXtend files.
- Understanding of server file system – move or compile programs.
- Understanding of data files, where they reside and how they will load (primarily used for EDI).
- Monitor and decipher error messages and resolve issues relating to ERP and subsystems.
- Quote and complete new EDI Trading Partner setup.
- Responsible for sign off EDI costs.
- Annual EDI certificate renewals.
- Customizations – understand what exists and how that impacts core ERP functionality.
- Excelerator Administration – build and maintain excelerator templates.
- Maintain and monitor QAD security.
- Build and Maintain browses within QAD.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll have:
- Degree or diploma in IT Support, Business, or related field.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and best business practices.
- Working knowledge and understanding of QAD software an asset.
- Strong technical background.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
