- Pay rate: $55,000 - $65,000 / Year

- Develop and implement strategies to promote the organization’s mission and mandate.
- Identify and access funding sources to support the company's development.
- Collaborate with certifying bodies across Canada to advance member interests.
- Maintain a working knowledge of developments affecting Technicians and Technologists.
- Participate in and lead the preparation and presentation of the company’s Annual General Meeting.
- Occasionally assist with and attend activities outside of regular office hours.
- Attend Council meetings and present activity reports.
- Maintain official records and documents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist the Company's Executive in supervising, scheduling, evaluating performance, and assigning duties to the Office Administrator.
- Market and raise awareness of the company's benefits to industry, government, and the public.
- Represent the company at national certifying body meetings.
- Work with staff and Council to develop and assemble newsletters.
- Assist in the growth and success of the company by promoting the Certification process.
- Certified or eligible to be Certified as a C.Tech, C.E.T, or P.Eng.
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of finance and measures of performance.
- Familiarity with working in a council-run organization.
- Experience working with other stakeholders (national/international) to advance common goals.
- Knowledge of Technician/Technologist environment in Nova Scotia/Canada.
- Local to Halifax Regional Municipality
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
